Maitreya was born in NY, raised as a child in LA, and the rest in San Rafael, Bay Area. He currently resides in the Midwest, In Fairfield, Iowa. He Started to produce music on GarageBand in 7th grade, continuing to find his sound as he evolved. When he was 16 years old he converted his closet into a recording studio and hasn't slowed down since. A passionate vegan with a serious love for avocado and cooking. Longtime practitioner of Transcendental Meditation and a student of sound healing. Always interested in design & fashion, Maitreya started his own clothing line at 16. Highly obsessed with nature in all forms, you can find him camping and exploring the mountains whenever he is not creating. If you hear a bass bumping somewhere deep in the forest, it is probably him..... :)
